Mattress Production Process

1. Material Forming

Cutting and compressing foam or other materials into specific sizes and shapes for use in the different layers of a mattress.

2. Material Layer Assembly

The mattress core is made by assembling layers of cut, compressed and shaped material. The layers are glued or sewn together to ensure stability.

3. Innerspring Unit Construction

Constructing the pocket spring unit by individually wrapping each coil and ensuring they fit perfectly within the mattress frame.

4. Quilting

Stitching together the cover fabric and a layer of foam or fiber to create the padded top layer of the mattress.

5. Mattress Assembly

Combining the quilted top, the assembled foam layers, and the innerspring unit. All components are encased in the chosen cover material.

6. Tape Edging

Sewing the edges of the mattress with a tape edge machine to secure all layers and give the mattress a finished look.
